EMDR Fees
EMDR therapy uses a structured protocol that requires more time than a typical 60-minute counselling or trauma therapy session. To work safely and effectively through the essential stages of the EMDR process, standard EMDR appointments are 90 minutes. This extended format provides enough space for preparation, resourcing, and processing without interruption. In some circumstances, 60-minute EMDR sessions may be possible, but this will need to be discussed with the therapist to ensure they remain clinically appropriate. The fees below outline the costs for these EMDR session options.
